The Microtech Hawk Auto revives the iconic 1996 design with 21st Century updates and aesthetics for a sleeker finish and increased functionality. This Tactical version features a piercing Hawkbill karambit blade with black Cerakote coated, American CTS-204P stainless steel and Black aircraft grade aluminum handle black hardware and a smooth aluminum handle without traction inserts.

Blade: The Hawk sports a claw-like 3.95-inch blade of high performance stainless steel with killer good looks. Grind, top swedge and spine supply the attitude while the flats feature weight-reducing cutouts with a futuristic vibe. The point-tapering grind offers an excellent combination of range and cutting performance while the tip point offers powerful piercing capabilities while retaining a high level of toughness. The blade opens lightning quick via the large, black, high traction button actuator. Grinds are finished in a corrosion resistance and durable, poly-ceramic Cerakote while the flats are left a fine satin.

Handle: Constructed of durable, smooth hard anodized aluminum handles that are both light weight and tough, matte finished for a discreet look. A finger choil and arched back deliver security in the hand in any position along with a jimped thumb ramp and jimping along both the top and bottom of the tapered pommel end. The same button that deploys the blade also disengages the rock solid plunge lock that delivers security in use. The Hawk is completed with Tactical Black Torx Hardware, pocket clip and hardened steel glass breaker insert.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, the steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CTS-204P has some of the highest chromium content of a high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance. Analogs to CTS-204P include CPM-20CV and Bohler M390.
