Blade: The upswept skinner profile and thick full tang deliver dependable performance every time equipped with a razor sharp plain edge for clean slicing. Optimized with Bos heat treatment, the premium S35VN stainless steel offers exceptional performance in edge retention and corrosion resistance with good toughness. Finished in gorgeous satin with a hollow grind and subtle top swedge for style and precision in use. The trailing point profile is excellent for skinning game and just about any other slicing or piercing chore. A forward choil just past the guard allows for a close grip for detailed skinning or cutting tasks.

Handle: Handsome and rugged, the brown burlap Micarta handle scales are pinned to the tang with brass pins and offer an ergonomic contoured grip with finger grooves for traction. The robust tang and thick scales offer a hand filling grip while the classic brass finger guard prevents unintentional blade contact. The tapered pommel end works well in the forward and reverse grip for versatile security. Includes a magnetic gift box and certificate of authenticity.

Carries via a genuine distressed brown leather sheath with snap closure.

CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
